Overview

The ergotec SP-3.0 is a telescopic suspension seat post with 95mm stack height, 1 screw fixing and 18 mm offset and is designed for city and trekking use. With a body height of 95 mm and a length of 350 mm, it offers the optimal balance between stability and flexibility.

Whether on bumpy city streets or uneven trekking trails, the ergotec SP-3.0 provides effective damping. The innovative 1-bolt clamping allows effortless mounting and adjustment of the saddle. This allows the saddle angle to be individually adjusted to achieve an ergonomically optimized seating position. The combination of high-quality materials and thoughtful design ensures reliable performance at an affordable price. With this suspended patent seatpost, rides through the city become even more pleasant and trekking adventures a comfortable experience.

Optional springs for different weight classes is also available. The classic suspension seat post is now also available diameters of 27.2 mm and 31.6 mm. This eliminates the need for additional seat post bushings. The seat post is also suitable for 7 mm Rail-D.

Easy Adjustment of Components. You can adjust the pretension via the screw-on end cap in order to regulate the progressive steel spring characteristics curve to suit your preferences. Also, you can easily adjust the damping to the rider’s weight by replacing the spring.

High Suspension Comfort and Low Breakaway Torque. Based on the combination of perfectly adjusted spring damping and reduced piston friction thanks to low-friction bushings, the telescopic post offers high suspension comfort and a low breakaway torque. Thus, the suspension seatpost quickly responds to the adjusted pressure while reliably guiding the tube for best saddle support.

Proven High-Quality though Extreme Strength Tests. In ergotec Test Center, all ergotec handlebars, stems and seat posts are subjected to extreme long-term tests, both individually and in combination. In addition to testing in line with European standards, ergotec also tests according to the significantly higher ergotec SAFETY LEVEL requirements.

Safety Level to Define Component Capacity. ergotec components of the Level 6+ group have been specially developed for use on mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes. Handlebars, stems and seat posts meet the highest ergotec safety standards and, thanks to their extreme robustness, can be used for a total weight (vehicle + rider + luggage) of up to 160 kg
